There are many ways to reach a destination. There are even more people, groups, and organizations who have developed methods to reach these destinations. When it is all said and done you have to find your way. You have to find your own way.
Finding your own way may consists of using various methods of travel. That is, you may have to use aspects of the various methods of reaching a desired destination developed by groups, people, and organizations. To be honest, what worked for someone else may not work for you and vice versa.
I have had a dream to be rich and successful. I followed in the footsteps of the drug dealer utilizing their method. Needless to say that left me broke and in prison. Not only that, it left me with no capital of any kind. No credit, no savings, no network, no education just prison and poverty. I still have the same dream. In order to reach my desired destination I am using a hodgepodge of methods to get there. I am working a nine to five, I am creating intellectual property, I am networking, and I am slanging books, and doing what I can to reach my destination.
As of right now I am still on the path. However, I am building social and economic capital.
We all have to find our way. We can’t go around mindlessly following the methods of others. Being successful just might require getting off the beaten path and carving out our own path.
For you slow dudes what I am saying is stop following every fluck person and trend. Instead do your own thing, it may get you where you actually want and need to be. Find YOUR way!
Aye! This was really motivating! Me in particular, I’ve always been different, the odd ball, etc. So I am truly a fan of doing my own thing and being my own person. Following trends and fitting in just never worked out for me. So finding my own way wasn’t really an option. So its motivating to see someone putting the word out there, encouraging people to carve their own paths. Makes sense to find your own way anyway, because nobody can take the same route. If it was that easy, everyone would be famous, or scientist, or doctors, etc. Just doesn’t work like that. Great read!
